Celebrating the Life of Stephanie Marie Jackson

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Stephanie, died on October 27th 2025. She was 68.

She is survived by her four children, daughter LaShay (Shirvon) , three sons Shalarmel, Salih and Steven; 13 grandchildren, Cameron, Kareem, Salih (The Eldest), Aliyah, Shayla, Shalar, Alyssa, Stephanie, Laila, Aniya, Salih (The Youngest), Shalyn, and Kaiden; her two older brothers, Adrian Willis (nieces Anika, Joy, Kai, Jasmine and nephew Adrian) and Gregory Willis (nephews Daniel and Gregory (Bernard); and her sister/cousin Venus (nephews Nefer-Atum, Seqen, Amen-Khem, and Elijah and her niece Kamaria) and sister Mona; her aunt Marie and uncle Kendall, a host of loving cousins.

She leaves to cherish her memory by her god sons Nikai, Jahi, Anthony; god daughters Stephanie Timmons and Jasire; grandchildren in love Tatiana, Kaymell, Sebastian, Kevin, Shyleen, Kiko, and Aliyah; her god brothers Rasheen and James; her bonus nieces and nephews who are the closest/best friends of her 4 children; former coworkers and a host of friends in the community.

Stephanie dedicated her life caring for her children, grandchildren, countless people in her family and within the community. She doted on all of her 13 grandchildren who affectionately called her Grandmommy. She was the “Grandmommy” who spoiled her grandchildren rotten. Her grandchildren were her entire world.

She was a very generous, hardworking, caring, loving, outgoing and kind woman. Stephanie never met a stranger. She loved music, cats and shopping. Stephanie was well known in the community. She served in her community for over 40 years . She was the heart and soul of our family. She will be sorely missed.
