Joseph Sirota

Joe’s greatest pride and accomplishment was his family. Everything he did was for the people he loved, and nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by them.

A lifelong lover of baseball, he spent many years coaching and sharing his passion for the game with others. He also loved cooking, especially when it involved plenty of garlic, and he was famous for making his beloved seven-layer cookies that brought smiles to everyone fortunate enough to enjoy them.

He was a fighter until the very end. Strong, resilient, and determined, he faced life’s challenges with courage and grace.

What many will remember most about Grandpa Joe was his kindness. He was the type of person who would help anyone in need, no questions asked. If something was broken, he could fix it. If someone needed support, he was there. His generous heart touched countless lives, and it is no surprise that everyone who knew him loved him.

He also cherished visits to Coney Island, a place that always reminded him of the love of his life and held a special place in his heart.

Joe leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, hard work, and selflessness. He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always loved. ❤️Services to honor his life will be held as follows:
