Helen T. DeGennaro

Helen T. DeGennaro, born on May 25, 1934, was a beloved figure whose radiant spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Tragically, Helen passed away on April 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an appreciation for life that will be cherished for generations to come.

Helen’s warm and welcoming nature made her a nurturing presence in the lives of many. She approached each day with a smile, finding joy in the simplest moments and filling the hearts of those around her with laughter. Helen was a steadfast source of support for her family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. Her love knew no bounds as she forged deep connections with those fortunate enough to share in her life.

As we gather to honor her memory, we invite all who were touched by Helen's life to come together for visitation at Miraglia Funeral Chapels, located at 8519 New Utrecht Ave, Brooklyn, NY, on May 4, 2025, from 2:30 PM until 9:30 PM.

On May 5, 2025, a Mass in her honor will be held at St. Mary Mother of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 2326 84th St, Brooklyn, NY, beginning at 10:30 AM. We will gather in faith and fellowship, cherishing our memories of Helen and seeking comfort in the embrace of community.

Following the Mass, Helen will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, located at 5 Bradhurst Ave, Hawthorne, NY. The burial service will commence at 1:00 PM. Let us all come together in remembrance of a remarkable woman who brought light into our lives, ensuring that her spirit continues to shine brightly within us.
