With love and gratitude, the family of Eva Adela Liccione announces her peaceful passing on December 11, 2025. Born on August 10, 1933, Eva was the heart of every room she entered - welcoming, warm, and endlessly generous. After retiring three decades ago, she embraced a well-earned season of joy: opening her door to all, listening without judgment, and loving without limits. She is survived by her daughter Carmen Mitchell; her stepdaughter Angel Downing; grandchildren Sofia, Christina, Ryan, and AJ; and many devoted nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Eva was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest gift was presence. She had a way of making you feel heard and held - whether during long talks about family and her life, or through her playful spirit and signature flirtatious charm that brought smiles to friends and strangers alike. She delighted in simple pleasures: late-night Candy Crush, coloring, movies, and Judge Judy. Music filled her world - especially Spanish music turned up loud - and she loved to dance, often reminiscing about the unforgettable nights at the Palladium Ballroom.
Those who knew Eva loved her for her open heart, her readiness to help anyone in need, and the bright, lively energy she carried into every day. She was happy and full of life - an anchor for her family and a blessing to her community. Her memory will continue in the stories she shared, the laughter she sparked, and the love she gave so freely. She will be dearly missed and forever cherished.
