Eduardo Miguel Ariza

Eduardo Miguel Ariza is survived by his loving family, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He was a devoted son, a loving father, a cherished and extraordinary brother, a brother-in-law, a proud and loving uncle—a second dad to his nephews and nieces—and the best of friends. He was also a loving dog dad to his beloved dog, Choco.

He was truly one of a kind—full of life, color, and authenticity. He lived unapologetically, never worrying about what others thought, and loved deeply and unconditionally. He loved his family and friends fiercely, and if you were lucky enough to be loved by him, you knew he would always have your back.

He will be remembered for his contagious laugh—one you could hear from a mile away—and his vibrant spirit. Always smiling and ready for a good time, he brought energy wherever he went. He was the life of the party, known for his silly dances and outfits that kept everyone laughing—there was truly never a dull moment with him. He enjoyed drinking his beers, smoking his cigars, and was always ready to take “shots, shots, shots, shots!”—a perfect reflection of his fun-loving personality.

He never missed a birthday, family gathering, or celebration—he was always down for anything. His voice and energy filled every room, often singing “Happy birthday to you, to you” in his own joyful way. He loved the beach, where he felt happiest and at peace. Every moment spent with him will forever be treasured.

He found joy in the simple things—spending time with family, visiting Coney Island, taking long walks and runs with Choco, painting, singing, and dancing. He was the life of the party, the brightest in the room, and yes, probably the loudest—but that’s exactly what everyone loved most. His presence and the energy he brought everywhere he went will be deeply missed.

He was the glue of the family. No matter how busy life got, he always made time for those he loved. He lived by a code of respect and care for everyone around him, making even strangers feel like family. He believed that “it’s not how you start the race, it’s how you finish that matters”—a message that will continue to live on.

It’s never goodbye—it’s see you later.

Su voz y energía llenaban cada espacio, muchas veces cantando “Happy birthday to you, to you” a su manera tan especial.
