Barry Franklin Miller

Very quietly and peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Almighty God, in His infinite power gently took Barry Franklin Miller home to be with Him.

Barry was born to the late Benjamin Franklin Miller and Sara Arlene Miller on October 12, 1956. He was educated in the Philadelphia School System after changing from the Catholic School of St. Theresa in the 5th grade.

Barry grew up as a curious child in Philadelphia working various jobs from packing groceries at Acme Market to food services in restaurants as well as managing apartment buildings. He always enjoyed helping people. He was a little lonely since he was the only boy with no biological brothers close by. At 14, he found his best friend, Richard Colon. They were friends to the end.

While Barry never married or had any children, he has been loved throughout his life by many.

Barry leaves to mourn his sisters, Stephanie, Stacy and Tracy; nephew, Shaun; niece, Francesca; great-nephews, Preston & Tre; girlfriend and life partner, Elaine Parris “Pat”; last but not least, his brother Richard Colon and Diane Garrett and sons, AB, Ricky, Maurice and Marlon. Also all the other family and friends afar.
